The Fromm Institute Holiday Party
Dear Fromm Students, Faculty and Staff, December 13, 2019
Thank you to all those that joined us for our Holiday Lectures to celebrate the season with your fellow classmates and the completion of another great year at The Fromm Institute. Professor Kip Cranna shared the success of composer Jake Heggie and Michael Morgan, the Oakland Symphony Music Director, took our students on a musical journey through his experience with numerous symphonies and musical organizations. Professor Sunnie Evers shared early artists interpretations of the Virgin Mary. Lastly, author and photographer Margaretta K. Mitchell provided insights about her book Recollections: Ten Women of Photography. We sincerely appreciate your continued support to this lifelong learning program and we hope you enjoyed the lectures by our engaging faculty. Your contribution provided a $5,000 Fromm Gerontology Scholarship and this year’s recipient is Angelina Miramontes. As you are all eagerly awaiting the start of the Winter Session on January 6th, 2020, the Fromm Institute Staff would like to wish you Happy Holidays and hope you have a safe holiday break. We are all looking forward to seeing you at the start of the new year!
